It's a great day to make some "black gold"! We are It's a great day to make some "black gold"! We are excited to kick-off our on-site composting project in partnership with @sunshinecommunitycompost. Haven Academy and ADT clients helped get all of the barrels set up and ready-to-go earlier today. Scraps from client lunches and from our Haven kitchen will be used to continually feed the compost piles. Each program on campus will take turns maintaining the compost bins by turning and checking on them regularly. Once finished, the compost will be used by our landscaping crew directly on campus.
