Removing Barriers

The goal of The Haven’s Community Employment Services is to provide our program participants with job-seeking skills, job development and placement, personal and vocational adjustment training, job analysis, employment coaching, and employment follow-along services. Regardless of the program, The Haven employs highly skilled, experienced professional Employment Specialists who work with clients to provide the finest quality employment services for people regardless of their disability.

Employment Services Program

Employment Services Program provides comprehensive employment services for both employers and program participants. Employers benefit from The Haven’s Employment Specialists who are experienced in providing well-trained and motivated employees. The Employment Specialists work with employers on identifying their needs and offering qualified workers by screening candidates, and providing on-the-job training. Program participants are supported by the Employment Specialists who align the specific requirements of the employer and the particular job with the participant by focusing on career counseling, job readiness training, job development, placement, follow-along maintenance, job retention and job accommodation assistance. Our staff provides the participant with recommendations, ideas, assistance and advice on filling out applications and interviewing for particular jobs.
